There is no food in existence that makes you feel
happy. Your thoughts make you feel happy. Just from
reading what you posted, you are in the mindset that
darkness and cold = unhappiness. Change your mindset
around, and it won't affect you anymore.
Look, no normal healthy person ENJOYS cold, dark, wet
weather. We are critters of the sun. We enjoy the
sun, and warmth. We are tropical beings by design.
However, you can't let something as simple as a few
months of non-ideal conditions ruin your life.
People who tend to let darkness and cold affect them,
usually don't have a very good social life. I'm not
saying that you don't, but in TCM, it usually goes
hand and hand. Lonliness and isolation creates
feelings of damp and cold in the body.
Again, no food can make you happy. Drugs can. A drug
like cacao may give you an artificial boost, which
some people might believe is 'happiness', but true
happiness comes from the mind, and your life
experiences. Change your mind, hang out with friends
more, and enjoy life. Then you'll be happy in the
winter.
