Hi Stevie, just to clarify, Dr Graham coined 80-10-10, which then became 811 and 80-10-10 obviously isn't just about a calo-nutrient ratio. To simply refer to a calo-nutrient ratio means someone can just eat rice cakes and call themselves 811. 80-10-10 is about a lifestyle of optimum health. For me the kind of energy and health I experience on fruit and greens (and the other healthy lifestyle factors) cannot be compared to cooked starch. Many years ago, before I'd heard about Dr Graham, I ate fruit exclusively and suffered all sorts of health problems. So I'd always suggest someone try 811 or 80-10-10 in the precise way it's advised and just see the impact of it, before trying to compromise it or shift it into something else. Take care and good luck, Bron
