Will I build muscle eating 90% date/lettuce smoothies?

I find that organic deglet noor dates are the cheapest and most accessible fuel source for me. Would it be possible to build muscle using mainly smoothie made with dates and a lot of lettuce(about 1.5 pounds of lettuce per day)? And only for dinner I would eat something different with some nuts/seeds.
