Hi Doug,
I have severe hyperhidrosis (heavy sweating) of my palms, feet, underarms and at times my whole body. I have had it since I was a child. It gets this bad on hands, feet and underarms at a certain times of the day, doesn't matter if I am hot or nervous, or even just relaxed like this-https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lvgHDX5u444, otherwise I am mildly sweating for the majority of the day. I was told it would probably go away with age, but it has only gotten worse.
I have been unable to get a job as a result and have experienced a lot of depressive cycles and emotional turmoil because it greatly limits my ability to do daily tasks. I have now reached a point where I can no longer tolerate the condition.
According to doctors I have 4 options, none of which seems very good and many could cause permanant damage and hinder the healthy 80-10-10 lifestyle I am trying to lead.
1. ETS Surgery (where my sweat glands are cut and clamped) can cause a lot of problems including compensation sweating where my lower body and trunk could sweat way more as well as so many other scary things. This will not be an option for me. http://truthaboutets.com/Pages/FXBottom.html#fx19.
2. Botox Injections in every square cm of hand, foot and underarms every 5 months. Painful and can cause permanent muscle damage and loss of hand dexterity.
3. Medication- Antidepressants and beta blockers http://www.excessive-sweating.net/sweat_oralmed.html
4. Do nothing and hope this is cured eventually with 801010.
Do you have any advice? Is there any cases of hyperhidrosis being cured on a 801010 diet? Surely there is a missing link here and it can be cured naturally. My other concern is hydration and loss of electrolytes. I am sweating more daily than a marathon runner.
Love to you xo
