I'm really stoked for things like diarrhea and vomiting if it means my body is purging something. Reading The 80/10/10 Diet has me sure that fruit is the way - it feels like the final piece of my eating puzzle (just like vegan did 10 years ago, and (high fat) raw did 3 years ago - but I just wonder why this is happening. I have thought "Am I personally not able to consume this much fruit?" And I remember a part in your book about how specific individual diets are bunk, right? And I like the idea that all of us humans can run on the same fuel. "Am I consuming it too fast?" And I have made effort to slow down, chew a lot, and not read or write or do anything else when I eat. So do you think all this fruit and salad is detoxifying me of all the junk in me? If so, I welcome it, and it seems from your last comment that's what you're saying, and that is the motivation that is helpful to stick with it. Also, 2 days ago, I fasted for 12 hours, then consumed only bananas for the next 12-18 hours or so, and then had lots more bananas, plus a large salad the next couple days and I have had several solid poops, and only one minor instance of diarrhea. I measured my calories, and yesterday they were about 3500 with 89% carb, 7% fat, 4% protein. Thanx, Mr. Graham, for your replies!
