Hey Doug, I've been exploring the idea that perhaps the conventional methods for hypertrophy are also inaccurate and and not ass effective as they can be because they are also based on people who are on a cooked food diet.

I went raw 80/10/10 several months ago and having lost a lot of fat, the illusion of being skinny has set in. I started to do training for sarcoplasmic hypertrophy but it's going a little slower than I expected.

My BMR is ~ 2700 calories on days I'm active, and I'm eating 3000 calories usually. I'm training right now with a typical body building split taking 1 day of rest for muscle groups. I usually do low volume high intensity compound exercises in the 3 x 8 ( set x rep ) range.

Is there any extra steps I should take when my goal is to increase muscle mass ? Hemp protein powder ? I eat my kale and spinach, so I feel that I'm covered with protein. Perhaps more fat ?

Is there a limitation to how big your muscles can grow on a raw diet ? I feel that conventional foods are so laden with hormones and steroids and fat that you balloon up and grow much quicker , beyond the natural potential.

Thank you All!

- Dan
