Watching those you care about live in a manner that you don't think is in their best interest is always challenging.
Telling other people what to do is always frustrating. Being attached to them behaving as you suggest is an almost guaranteed recipe for dismay.

Let go of the attachment. Be the living example. Act the way you would want someone to treat you.
