Rawfully inspired,
I don't have Dr. Graham's physiology knowledge so I'm not sure I'm going to be much use explaining what he says here, but I will try nonetheless.
Basically, Dr. Graham is talking about one of the major differences in opinion between natural hygiene and allopathic medicine (aka modern medicine). This explains why Dr. Graham's ideas are not mainstream and will not become mainstream until this debate is settled in the minds of most people, especially the leaders in the popular health movement such as Dr. Oz or Dr. Weil.
What I think Dr. Graham (please correct me if I'm wrong) is saying is that the lymphatic system as well as all the other cleaning organs such as the liver and the kidneys are the ones doing all of the body's clean-up job including getting rid of harmful bacteria etc. This 'clean-up' system can not become immune to abuse and it can not do more than it was designed to do. Furthermore, there are so many harmful bacteria, viruses, funghi etc that it is a pointless, even silly notion to think that we can 'expose' ourselves to them all and thus acquire 'immunity' by such exposure. The best protection, although it can not 100% guarantee success is keeping the 'clean-up' system in the best possible working order so that it can perform its job in the event of exposure to harmful 'germs'. Keeping this system healthy includes not excessively exposing it to harmful elements such as can be found in vaccines and other such products.
I believe people such as Dr. Oz or Dr. Weil still believe that there is a 'magic bullet' out there, that we have yet to discover, which will allow us to eat, drink, etc. whatever we care for without suffering the consequences of our actions.
