Subject:	Travelers' Diarrhea

Hola!

At what point, if any, does antibiotic treatment for
Travelers' Diarrhea become wise? ... I've been back in the US
for only two days and am beginning day 11 with TD after
visiting Ecuador, a high risk country for TD, (however easy to
eat LFRV). No specific bacterial cause has been tested for or
determined at this time. Does TD tend to remedy itself without
antibiotics? (I'm not particularly concerned about the loss of
2.5 pounds during this time, which I expect will return when
the TD subsides.)
