Most definitely, those with higher levels of health tend to show the highest levels of vitality, which, if you must, you could interpret as "resistance" to disease.
I was actually asking if you could suggest a reason why, (or, if you prefer, another reason other than the one I proposed) if so many NAs died as a result of not having specific antibodies, any of them should have those antibodies. If none had the antibodies, why did they not all die? The same could be asked of the French or the English during their worst plagues.
Fasting definitely would be the best approach, yes. Included in a fast would be sufficient rest, fresh air, and sunshine, yes.
