No one is doubting the existence of microbes, or arguing the fact that many microbes are not conducive to human health. We know that tens of thousands of different microbes are in fact essential to human health. Does that make health contagious? Why didn't ALL the native Americans die, if indeed they weren't equipped to deal with a specific microbe?
