When dietary fat intake goes up, even if it is totally from coconut, in order for total calorie intake to not go up, carbohydrate intake must go down. Reduced carb intake, especially relative to rises in fat intake, always result in the problems I mentioned in my last response to this question: compromise in uptake, transport, and delivery. Especially for athletes, this translates to reduced ability to recover, reduced ability to train, and an overall result of lowered level of performance. Sugar is the sole fuel for anaerobic performance. Lowering sugar intake and raising fat intake crushes anaerobic performance.
