Thanks RKO, I had blood tests a couple of years back
which showed only a sodium deficiency and a slight
urinary tract infection.
I was persuaded to take antibiotics and did because I
thought it might help with the frequency of urination.
It made no change at all of course. Since reading
more, I wonder if the detox brought on by my
transition to 811rv (not previously vegan) mimicked
symptoms of infection. The Na lack I take as normal
for a rawfoodist compared to the general average; I
have always eaten a large amount of greens.
If it were a parasite I would have had it over 20
years as the thirst has increased over this time.
D. insipidus (water related diabetes) I kind of rule
out as the hospital testing looks gruelling in terms
of fluid restriction. It would force me to fast,
which is an unreal test. Plus there seems no
effective treatment.
It's worth looking into, but I suspect the headaches
are menopausal as they are a new symptom.
