Not a different species. There is ample data to
suggest that different lineages of people have
different dietary "reactions" for example the Pima
Indians who develop diabetes very rapidly(not
suggesting it is because of one or another diet, just
pointing out the rate at which it develops in relation
to another heritage.)
There are many more examples such as simple examples
of people who are lactose intolerant vs ones who are
not.
Do you believe that if you take a newborn eskimo or a
newborn Maasai, that a heavy fruit diet would be the
best for them, despite their genetic adaptation(we're
assuming in terms of thousands not in terms of
millions of years here, obviously.)
So it follows, that if you are Irish and very fair-
skinned to the extent that you would develop sunburns
in only a few minutes of sub-tropical sun, how can a
diet that can only be sustained in such a climate the
healthiest for this individual?
