I agree, I don't like to take supplements if they're unnecessary.
I KNOW in my mind and in everything that makes common sense to me that
80/10/10 is the best way to eat of all the supposed "diets" written in books.
However, I have a few more questions.
As far as absorption, how do I deal with that? Are there cleanses? Or fasts? that
will clear my system and help with absorption. And how does stress? or
exercise? help with absorption? Do all fruits and vegetables contain enough B12
to be a sufficient in out requirement for B12, especially with all the deficient soil
in North American farms?
As far as B12 taking 10-15 years to develop, I believe that. I use to eat like crap
since I was born until about a year ago. I'm only 25. But my question is, if I've
been developing this deficiency for so long, why is it only appearing as a
deficiency NOW that I've been eating this way for 6 months? I'm light headed and
dizzy almost every morning these days. It's truly discouraging.
My boyfriend tells me I should probably wait for a few years until I move to a
warmer climate before attempting 100% raw vegan again. I understand his
concern but I wish I knew how to rebuttal everyone's attempt to get me to eat
some cooked beans and fish again.
