This may seem like a silly question.

If eat about 1800-1900 calories in a day, including properly combined fruits, greens, and a whole avocado with dinner. That comes out to about 15% of calories from fat (according to fitday.com). I never eat a partial avocado, that seems silly. I realize if that is my preference I ought to skip overt fats entirely for a few days out of each week.

I'm just wondering, if I were to increase my total calories for a day, would that help "balance" anything out? Just by adding a few pieces of fruit, my calories for that day increases and overall fat% naturally decreases. But perhaps I don't need those extra calories, even if it's only 200-300.

I am neither gaining nor losing weight at this time. I suppose my body fat% could be lower, as well as longer term benefits of lowering fat intake just a hint.
