Subject:         Expanding your stomach on 811?
Date: September 20, 2012 at 7:54 pm PST

Hi raw foodists, I'm a High school athlete (Long Distance
Running and Wrestling) who read 80/10/10 and is highly
interested in trying out the diet. Without going into much
detail, I have tried eating watermelon a few times for
breakfast and struggle at eating even a half (these are what I
would say medium sized). Of course being that it isn't enough
calories I get hungry an hour more later.

Does my stomach really need to double its elasticity in order
to follow 811?

If so, if I managed to do that will that mean possibly
excessively overeating on cooked foods now that there is more
room (if not quite following 811).

I know that during the wrestling season I notice that my
appetite decreases as my stomach shrinks I think. I'm
basically afraid of sudden weight increases if I were to
expand my stomach while eating cooked foods as well.

And finally: Does any of this make sense, I probably have no
clue how the stomach actually functions. Hope I'm not
embarrassing myself here and getting it all wrong =p.

Thanks for any help. If anyone wants to chat send me an
email, I'm always looking to learn and improve.
