Hey Dr Graham, I've had chronic health problems for years, the worst of which being chronic fatigue and weakness. Very happy to have found your book, and I'm optimistic that 811 can help me regain my health. I've been on the diet for a few weeks now, and I've been trying to ramp up my exercise in accordance with the plan. I'm just a little confused about one of the concepts. The book states that You are not following 80/10/10 if: You burn less than 40% of your total calories through physical activity (at least 800 calories per day if you average 2,000 calories). How do I calculate exactly how many calories I'm burning through physical activity, and what exactly defines physical activity? Also, my BEE requirement is nearly 2,000 as it is, so how can I be expected to burn 800 of those through physical activity? Does this mean I should be aiming for 2,800 calories per day with lots of physical activity? I hope my questions are clear to you. Thanks very much in advance, Lindsey
