Hi Bart,
If you are near islington then the best place would probably be Planet
Organic (tube stop Angel).
Address
64 Essex Road
London Borough of Islington
Also if you are not fussy about organic, Angel (closest tube) has a
street market Chapel Market which has a number of fruit and
vegetable stalls - I've actually had some nice figs from there. Its not
far from White Lion Street.
Borough Market - London Bridge tube stop
Most supermarkets (Tesco, Sainsburys, waitrose) have an organic
section and reasonably decent produce.
Farmers markets in England tend to only sell vegetables and not fruit.
Wholefoods, High Street Kensington is great for fruit and veg but it is
further away from you but if you are desperate for organic and
guaranteed good quality then I would recommend going here albeit
expensive.
Good luck and enjoy the abundance of fairly decent fruit and veg this
far of the equator!
