Subject:         Dr.G. and others on storing fruit during daily activities

Hi,

I work a 12 hour days and I am not able to always go to the local grocery store to pick up fruit.

I have to bring my own. This becomes a challenge because during the course of the day where I life packages and require focus to do my job I obviously need fuel. Fruit is best for sure but trying to figure out which ones are best.

Any suggestions on how to do this?

I have tried carrying bananas but they easily beaten up in bags.

I have pre-washed grapes (this seems to work) in a container but the container gets in the way of daily duties.

Can one use plastic bags instead?

What fruits are ideal for getting bounced around in a bag. I understand apples anything else?

How long before I wash lets say blueberries do I need to consume them?

Thanks in advance.
