Chlorophyll is not a nutrient, at least not for humans. There tends to be more water towards the core of most vegetables, hence other nutrients are less concentrated there. I'm not convinced this makes the core less nutritious, but the nutrient values are different from leaf to core.

If you are thriving on the cores, that's fine by me, if that is what you are asking. If you are asking do I recommend greens, the answer is yes. I recommend developing the habit of eating green leaves. I believe they are good for us. Can you live without them? I haven't tried, and can't say, except to say that those people I've known who have tried to live exclusively and entirely on fruit have not done well, especially those that have tried to live on just one type of fruit.
