10 is a round number, agreed. Ten is a target, one which many sports scientists, health professionals, and medical doctors suggest is ideal. I agree. We are not howlers, at least last time I checked. Howlers rely upon eating a much greater percentage of leaves than we do, and less fruit, so of course their fat intake will be higher. If you want to eat fat levels in the teens, I wouldn't make a big deal about that. The average American eats more than 40% of calories from fat, and the average raw fooder, over 70% of calories from fat. That's worth noting.
