Generally, I would eat enough fruit and greens, not too much and not too little. Get much sleep, as much as you can. I have been sleeping much lately and did a two-day water fast. Cutting back the food helped. Do you like romaine lettuce whole? I eat everything whole, no juice (not whole), no overt fats (personal preference). Also, you can get a scale that tells you your body fat percentage. On page 145 of The 80/10/10 Diet book, it writes that the ideal body fat recommendations for men is 3 - 9% and for women is 13 - 19%. If you are at the correct body fat percentage, then you can build muscle through weight lifting. The principle behind Natural Hygiene is to provide enough of what we need, and the body heals itself, to the degree that it can (not irreversible damage).
