Subject:         How to make low GI date smoothie-ideas?

Recently I bought large box of very good organic dates. These
will be a staple calorie source for next month.

I usually make date smoothies for day's worth consumption
because eating them dried dont fit on my digestion. However
when I blend dates with 200g of lettuce and water resulting
700 calorie smoothie is way to fast digested-I get low energy
and dizziness as well as constant hunger shortly after meal.

On the other hand when I added an ounce of nuts/seeds to my
date smoothie I instantly noticed the difference-slower
digestion, much more energy, clearer mind and no hunger.

Dr. Doug and others, do you have any ideas on how to make date
based smoothie that would be low GI to provide slow burning
energy and dont tax digestive system.
