Hello! Recently ive been having steamed carrots, potatoes and sweet pot. a few times a week as an evening meal. It came to a point that i realised i was having way too much at one meal, just to compensate for the absence of fruit cals. I just wonder what you think would be a reasonable amount to eat at one meal if i dont want to give my body the detrimental task of digesting 1358 g of cooked tubers, root veg. blahabla.

500 g? 750 g? (I know smaller amounts will not be harm-free, but just to avoid putting an enormous strain on my system. GIs and GLs and pre-meal exercise aside, i just want to know what you think is too much and what is reasonable)
