I think that Doug Graham said that you can gain 1 lb of muscle per month in one of his audios. You have to lift heavy weights for a few repetitions. A book that I have is called "The New Rules of Lifting: Six Basic Moves for Maximum Muscle". You can skip the nutrition chapter at the end, using The 80/10/10 Diet book instead. It simplifies muscle moves and uses free weights and uses muscles in coordination rather than in isolation. The 80/10/10 diet and lifestyle has the same concept of not using nutrition and lifestyle in isolation. A supplement is a pharmaceutical isolated nutrient. However, nutrients work in coordination with other nutrients, which work in coordination with other nutrients, etc. This is found in whole foods. The same needs to be done with muscles. You need to do the work to get larger. I need need to the same also.
