Judging by some blood tests sodium seems not to be an issue; uric acid seems not to be an issue; cholesterol levels are overall low (which in the case of hdl might not be a too good thing), except for vldl which might exceed upper range (also considered bad). Interestingly, from the first paragraph, I disagree on the 'non wasted calories' issue. Fiber will take away from everything, and, in case of fructose malabsorption (which is quite common, and the more fructose in the diet, the more likely it becomes - also blamed as 'detox' - what ever the latter might mean. I think it simply means 'something bad is going on and I have no clue what it is' :D) this sugar is particularly lost - then you have this excessive going to the BR, eliminating. I think that the magic of fruit calories that one can ingest, without getting fat (as claimed by 30Bananasaday), is that they in fact 'magically' disappear down the drain..
