I believe that you would do well to learn more about the way plants and animals utilize saturated fats. Biochemistry and physiology explains that we humans, at least, manufacture saturated fats from other structures, typically from unsaturated fats, in order to utilize them in integrated structures. For us, saturated fat is not a building block, it is a finished structure. The same is true for other animals, and plants as well. For us, eating foods that are relatively low in such finished structures works best, as we cannot utilize them, per se. We need building blocks, not finished structures.
