Hi Robyn, I have been using oil (not coconut, almond)
for years as a moisturiser. Oil is far better
absorbed by the epidermis and supporting tissues than
any cream. The problem is, any oil will stain
clothes, bedding, etc, and is not very sociable.

If I'm telling you things you have already
experimented with, fine. If you have not yet tried
oil as a moisturiser, I recommend it. I soon
developed a habit of mixing oil roughly half and half
with a cream or body lotion; I use the cheapest), so
as to be able to don my clothes after a shower, and
not glisten like a bodybuilder contest while it
absorbed/rubbed off on things.

Having said that, I have been told numerous times
(including by a facial surgeon) that I look younger
than my biological age, by comparison. Also drinking
lots of water helps.
