When I'm hungry for calories (sugar), I eat fruit. When I'm hungry for salt or minerals, I eat greens. I just have to learn not to eat when not hungry. It takes some discipline. Get into a routine so that you don't have to think about it. I buy my fruit in bulk (in boxes) and my greens individually once a week on Tuesdays.
