i've been dabbling with raw off and on for years
i'm finally at a place where i no longer want anything except for raw and i'm
much closer to eating low fat all the time as well, which is why i'm here, i'd like
to follow the 8/1/1 ideals
i have a 2 1/2 year old child
now as a single parent i no longer have the battles regarding her diet and i have
been moving her more in the direction i feel is best for her
she's almost eating entirely vegan now, except for some raw milk cheese a few
times a week
and she's close to eating all raw except there are times when all i can get her to
eat is still gluten free rice/quinoa based noodles or toast with avocado or refried
beans and corn chips
she used to love green smoothies now refuses them same with green juice
the only thing i can reliably get her to consume is celery which is great, and
cucumber but no green leafies (unless i make raw kale chips)
she loves nuts and seeds and will eat those as well as coconut stuff or avocado
anyway, i'm concerned that if i remove entirely the last cooked items she eats
that she will just not be eating enough calories and getting the proper nutrition
she still breastfeeds before bed and first thing in the morning
is it a matter of, remove it all and she'll eventually eat because she's hungry
enough? or continue to gradually reduce and reduce ??
i'm interested in hearing from those who have children who didn't START out
from the beginning raw vegan and now are, or suggestions of resources?
i personally enjoy eating quite simply and don't make many recipes or such
(espcially now that my dehydrator has died)
thank you in advance for anything you might have to offer!
