If you are purchasing to save money, obviously the less expensive ones suit your purpose best.
You may find it enlightening to call the producers of the dates you prefer, to find out exactly what treatments and procedures the dates are subjected to, post harvest.
Then you can make an informed choice.
But the "raw" dates sound too pricey.
