chewing our food very slowly and thoroughly is very important. Blending equals perfect chewing. My question is simple - is it worth it to buy a very expensive blender ( blend tec, vitamix ) that has enough power in it to actually break apart the indigestible cells and components of some vegetables that would otherwise require cellulose ( an enzyme we lack ) ? Blenders aren't natural, and I know we can live fruitfully without them, but they are given to us as a tool we can choose to utilize. Doug, I would love your input on this as well as anyone else who feels they can help me :)
