Free markets mean individuals are free to exchange ideas. To the degree that individuals want to be healthy, information that leads to health will be the most valuable (i.e. demanded by consumers). Free markets also coincide with free speech, which means everyone is free to criticize the claims made by others about their products. Such an environment is most conducive to mental and physical well-being.
