My hair is not greasy, and I stopped getting dry hands. I stopped using shampoo and soap on my body when I shower. I still use unscented Dr. Bronner's castile soap sometimes on my hands. I've been no shampoo much longer than no soap on my body. I also have not eaten overt fats since January 2011. I get sun mostly by working on the lawn or farm on the weekends. I use a brush and comb to mechanically clean my hair. It's normal to have some oil in your hair to lubricate the hair. So, I suggest getting some sun and washing yourself with only water. Brush and comb your hair to mechanically clean it.
