| Subject: | oily/greasy hair on the top o fmy head/fungal infection? |
|

I have had this problem several months and it won;t go away. I was wondering if anyone might know what is wrong and how to fix it.
The hair on the top of my head will not come clean, it is always greasy feeling and looks bad. I have done some searching on the internet and found that other people have this problem. Know one seems to know for sure what it is, some suggestion it is fungal and some say hormonal.
I am 54 years old and follow a 811 diet, generally it is more 90/5/5 because when I eat overt fats I get hot flashes. I have had the hot flashes on and off for 4 years. I started eating raw about 12 years ago and switched to 811 in 2007.
I consider myself to have excellent health with no other complaints besides the hot flashes and this hair thing. I don't recall anything that I changed in my normal routine that might have caused this.
I have included a link below to where other people are talking about this problem. They suggest things like vinegar, apple cider vinegar, Listerine and Palmolive dish soap to fix the problem.
Before I try any of that I thought I would see if anyone here knew if fasting might help or could suggest some thing else...
Thanks for your help.
