I checked my blood lipids and they were within normal ranges on high fruit diet, as well as my hba1c was within normal range after 1 year on sweet fruit. So, fructose thing is really not a concern. However due to some reason higher glycemic foods like blended dates or banana smoothies dont work for me. My staples are blended dates with lettuce to lower gi however it feels like to fast burning fuel. I am searching ways how to minimize gi of dates by adding some nuts/seeds to my smoothies and it works, however my digestion really sucks then. So, I need some other ways to balance my fuel by making it slower burning.
