Well, you could start by using science books, pretty much ANY science books, rather than the personal agenda-driven articles, double talk, gimmicks, hype, and marketing hearsay that most advocates of the high-fat approach utilize. Any sports physiology text, for instance, debunks high fat and promotes high carb. Medical texts promote high carb as anti-cancer, heart dx, diabetes, etc. In fact, you will find yourself extremely challenged to come up with even one actual graduate level science text that supports high fat. I know of none.
