Subject:         science behind low-fat diet

What is your recommended reading for the science of the detrimental effects of fat in the diet. People often point to articles like the link below that claim low-fat diets are actually unhealthy:

These same people also often speak of indigenous populations that consume large amounts of animal products and thus high amounts of fat but who are "in optimal health."

I 100% agree with a low-fat diet and believe it is the healthiest diet but I never know what to respond to the false science that these people cling to.
