Hi,
My daughter who I have spoken with you about previously had a
serious chest infection and we had to resort to antibiotics.
Now her stomach is terribly bloated and she has awful
puffiness particularly in the face. She seems to puff up
whatever she eats but I am sure it is food related. She has
had some blood tests recently checking...blood sugar, kidneys,
liver, lymph, bone density and various food intolerances. All
OK except a hereditary blood disorder showed which I also
have. It's called thrombophilic state Factor V (activated
Protein)which means the blood can clot easily. She also is a
rhythmic gymnast and is first reserve for the Olympics for the
single individual place...so you can add her in your thinking
of 811 athletes that just missed out:)When she increased
training hours Feb 2011 her periods stopped, which when I
asked around , was deemed quite normal. This year when her
younger sister upped hours hers also stopped but when she
resumed back to normal hours it swiftly returned. The eldest
daughters has not returned even though she has been out of
training due to her bloating and chest infection for 8 weeks.
This is a concern. She has followed your advice and not eaten
fruit and greens together. Any further advice please ???
Many thanks,
