Hair is hair, whether man's or woman's. I don't use shampoo. I used Dr. Bronner's unscented organic bar soap a few times when my hair seemed dirty, but not lately. Bar soap is gentler than liquid soap. I mostly use only water on my hair. I've been using the above mentioned soap for my skin, but it may not be necessary. My ears seem to get oily more than anything else. Sunlight cleanses the skin, but I don't get my whole body exposed to the sun.
