What's wrong with camping? At Woodstock there was a camping option last year.
The idea is to make it somewhat accessible to the young people. If 811 is to make a dent in society, youth is where it must take hold. Young people earn on average much less than the figures I put in the other post. Most do not have a spouse or family so they would not be taking 3 or 4 people but still they have a fixed income.
Companies like Mercedes Benz are known for quality but still they make an entry level model which is still expensive compared to a Kia or a Hyundai but much more reasonable than the $90,000 vehicles we are accustomed to seeing.
I'm not asking you to lose money, nor am I asking you to cut corners, just asking if there might be an event that can be done in a location that is not $50,000 for a week to rent, where the meals are coming from foraged foods in the wild with some additonal produce maybe from a local farmer who is interested in getting known to new fruit munchers in the area. The lifestyle is more of a back to nature lifestyle so there is nothing wrong with being in nature.
I see posts from some people on some other forums and they often look at the costs of the events and automatically they realise they will never be able to afford any of them and suddenly they see this whole lifestyle as an elite lifestyle which bars anyone who is not earning a 6 figure salary or more.
I do not mean to offend you or anyone but this is the feedback I get and I can see what they mean.
