If you are eating "more nuts than you should" Then you are probably going well over 10% fat. If you are not using cronometer or a similar tracking system you would be surprised to see what that amount really is. So when you say "w/o nuts I have a hard time sticking to 80/10/10" it's actually the nuts that are taking you away from 80/10/10 and possibly closer to 70/10/20 or 60/10/30.

This is exactly my problem as well and really need to work on getting in more fruit calories so I can limit the amount of overts I eat. I tend to end up eating too many almonds or sunflower seeds at night.
