| | Subject: | Excessive weight gain during tranistioning -how many calories should I be consuming? | |
Date: | July 16, 2012 at 10:40 am PST |
Hi Doug, When I started tranisitoning to 811, I was 154lbs (5'4) and ran 3-4 times a week for 30-40 mins at a time. 2.5 yrs on I'm now 231lbs and can no longer run - I followed Duriander's advice and didn't realise that low fat meant no oil -so having a little oil & salt in an evening vegan cooked meal is where I have gone wrong! I'm now oil and salt free and eat to appetite and have a seen a slight improvement, but not sure if I need to create a deficit. I'm very worried about my weight, but am still confused about how to correct this problem. It's very annoying and embarassing that I have gained so much weight transistioning, but people on 30b reassured me weight gain was normal and I didnt't realise the mistakes I was making until it was too late. I am no longer able to run and am a joke to my family. I mostly do household duties in the day. Could you advice me how many calroies I should be eating to lose weight? Kate
