I buy a bananas, dates, tomatoes, greens, and a seasonal fruit once a week on Tuesdays. If I can not eat the produce in a week, I wait until the next week to decide whether to buy more. Get into a weekly routine. Buy in bulk, lowering the number of types of fruit to a handful of boxes because you can not eat 10 boxes of fruit in a week. It costs me about $150 to $200 per week because we eat a large volume.

Variety is throughout the year and with items that you buy individually (not in bulk) such as a few of a type of fruit.

To ripen fruit, leave it outside the refrigerator. To slow the ripening of fruit, put it inside the refrigerator.

Minimum preparation is cut and eat. Tools are a cutting board and knife.

Keep it simple. This is the simplest way to eat. It's easy.
