Fruits are low in calories and higher in water and fiber, so it takes some getting used to eating fruit. Dates and bananas are good for supplying a higher number of calories. Buy fruit in bulk (in boxes). Ask the produce department. After a while, it will be routine, and you won't think about it anymore.
