Subject:         Smelly vs not smelly gas

I remember coming across a sentence or two in the 811 book about a reason for stinky gas and what causes loud gas. I believe stinky gas can be caused by over consumption of protein and I can't remember the other! Is it fat? It's driving me crazy. Does anyone know and possibly can anyone site the book and give me the location?
