Food in the "natural state" is what I call raw food. Natural state is what it looks like on the plant in nature. Blended food is chewed food in its natural state with some oxidation, which decreases its value. I rarely use blending. I almost always use only a cutting board and knife and my teeth. I wash lettuce that is dirty and sandy. Other that that, I do very little preparation. Animals do no preparation. I eat only low-fat fruits and greens, fruits being things with seeds including low-calorie fruits like tomatoes and yellow squash. I eat no overt fats. If you keep it simple and buy in bulk once a week, it's easier than any other diet.
