Many Thanks, Over the past 15 years I have been struggling with allergies/intolerances, candida, psriosis, hives, painful dead joints, shooting pains, awful stomach cramps.....some of these went when I stopped eating dairy and wheat. My 17 year old daughter is a rhythmic gymnast and first reserve for the Olympic games this summer. She has had terrible bloating for 18 months on and off, appearing 5 months pregnant at times. The Dr diagnosed it IBS with no cure. It was affecting her gymnastics and she has just missed the British championships due to it. She began searching diets and started on a high fat raw diet last autumn and since Spring has been on the LFVD diet. She kept in communication with me passing info she thought would be helpful to me. This has lead us both on a journey to 811. I have just finished the 80/10/10 book which was quite a challenge. I have been vegan for about 3 weeks now with no fat(except a small amount of fat and chicken when away this weekend, which made me feel sick and worsened my symptoms)She has done 10 days on bananas alone followed by another week just on one fruit a day. Now she has introduced salad in the evenings. Her stomach is still not great and she still suffers with heartburn. When I upped my fruit and greens I started awful hives again and have resorted to an anti-histermine tablet before bed so I can sleep.I also got cists in my breasts, armpits and neck. The first ones I had checked and they weren't cancerous. These were a concern to me but I guessed it was part of detox. This weekend the ones in the breast and armpit disappeared. We would both love some advice/encouragement to continue. Will we really get better if we continue on the 811? many thanks, xx
