Do you find it easy on a daily basis to follow 811? YES, because I feel so much better when I do. Yes, late winter/early spring gets tedious with bananas as a staple (I do NOT like bananas). How do you deal with invitations (meals, parties)? I focus on the relationships. If it is a "potluck" type deal, I'll contribute a big salad (green and/or fruit) and eat that. I don't sweat it if the hosts offer non-organic raw fruits/veggies and will take and eat some. I haven't had problems with telling people (truthfully) that I've eaten beforehand or that I am not hungry and would like to just visit. I think honesty goes a long way in those situations. People have bigger things to worry about than what I eat or don't eat, and frankly it just doesn't seem to phase them. But, maybe that's because I don't question them on what they eat either. Not to say I haven' worried about what people might say or think! I just find that 9 times out 10 all that worry is for naught; it's all just in my head. :) I believe around Christmastime last year Dr. Graham had an audio for sale about 811rv in social situations. You may want to contact FoodnSport to see if it is still available (I don't see it listed on the website).
